The Cadastral Drawing Office is a section under the Cadastral Services Branch responsible for cadastral mapping that is derived from all cadastral survey records and plans. The section produces new cadastral  map products such as: survey diagrams, general and working plans, sketch plans, township index maps etc. The section further up-dates or revises such map products as it is a legal requirement to maintain all cadastral records.

Analogue and digital processes are utilized to produce mapping products. The section is currently undergoing transformation inorder to introduce modern digital cartography and GIS techniques for managing spatial data.
