The Cadastral Survey Examiniation is a section under the
Cadastral Services Branch that examines survey records lodged by practicing land
surveyors to the Surveyor-General's office. The survey examination process is a
quality check undertaken to ensure that the surveys conducted by the land
surveyors comply with the land survey act and regulations (CAP 188 of the Laws
of Zambia). Survey records, diagrams and plans are examined, approved by the Survey Department. The records are state filed and declared official
public record.
