The Cadastral Plan Room is a technical registry archiving cadastral records that include:

survey records lodged by land surveyors, survey diagrams and plans;
administrative boundary maps and associated narrative descriptions - cheifs boundaries, provincial and district boundaries, statutory housing and improvement areas, natural reserve boundaries i.e. protected forest areas, national parks and game management areas.

The Plan Room is a customer service area where members of the public make queries and access cadastral information, the public are also able to submit plans and other records to the Survey Department for technical processing.
